Finally home after a busy day shopping at Rite Aid and CVS, working at the bookstore, and then volleyball practice.
Here is my morning...
My first stop was Rite Aid. I visited 2 stores for a total of 5 transactions. I had (5) $5 off coupons for each visit, plus manufacturer coupons. I also started my trips with somewhere around $10 +UPS (RA "play" money). Remember, if you let the system work for you, you roll the +UP rewards in every purchase.
My total out of pocket (OOP) was $9.74. I think that mostly covered tax. (O: I did spend $7.50 on newspapers, so that should be taken into consideration.
I bought:
(5) Honey Nut Cheerios
(2) Lucky Charms
(1) Cookie Crisp
(4) Nature VAlley Granola Bars
(2) Huggies Jumbo packs
(5) Herbal Essence Shampoos
(10) Dry Idea women's deodorant
(6) Right Guard Men's deodorant
(2) Mascaras (they retail at RA for $24!! what??!?!?! It must apply itself or something!)
And I have $11 +UP for next Sunday...my favorite part! (O:
CVS didn't work as planned so I had to wing it a bit. I did have a $5/$25 that they emailed me a couple days ago, so that helped. And I had $9 in ECB from a couple weeks ago. It is never as great a deal as RA, but it was still ok.
I bought:
(6) Skippy Peanut Butter
(2) Edy's Ice Cream
(1) Granola Bar
(1) Shampoo
(1) Shaving Gel
I only did one trip and spent $5.44. I received $8 in ECB for another trip. I may do that this week if I can come up with a good deal. CVS limits the ECB so I may wait until next Sunday.
Hoping to make it to Walgreens and Tops tomorrow after work for a couple fast trips. The best part about being organized is that I am in and out, no browsing, I get what is on my list, and I am done. That probably contributes a bit towards my saving money as well!
Thanks for checking things out!
PS...I am NOT pregnant. Shower gifts for my girlfriend who is having her first. (O;
